Soft Spoken is the feeling of a clean cable knit sweater against warm skin, with the lights turned low and nowhere else to be.

It opens with creamy milk and ambrette, giving the scent a freshly washed softness that feels smooth, clean, and close. Then cocoa and vanilla bean begin to melt through the room, but not in a sugary, dessert like way. They feel dark, velvety, and rich, like the warmth left behind in a room after the sun has gone down.

Incense runs quietly beneath it all, adding a smoky depth that keeps this candle grounded and a little mysterious. Tonka bean and musk soften the edges, creating a finish that feels plush, intimate, and almost tactile. Tuberose sits far in the background, adding a soft bloom that makes the blend feel more rounded without ever pulling it into floral territory.

One thing we're always looking for when it comes to making candles are the scents that you don't often smell, but once you do you wonder it's been all your life.

When it comes to fall fragrance, there's always the scents that everyone's doing, pumpkin, cinnamon, apples, the whole lot. We have all of those too, and we told ourself if we were ever going to do a new fall candle, we wanted it to be different. After searching and searching, we found Soft Spoken. The notes in this scent aren't inherently "fall" but when you smell them all together and imagine autumn nights with rooms lit by candle light, wearing a cozy sweater, it all just makes sense. It's almost like the autumn version of all those beachy linen scents you see in the summer.

The amber vessel was chosen for the way it holds the light. Once lit, it gives the room a warm, low glow that feels softer than overhead lighting and more inviting than a perfectly styled space. The double wick creates a fuller fragrance experience, allowing the velvety cocoa, creamy vanilla, and smoky incense to move through medium to large rooms with ease.

Get the most out of your Soft Spoken candle with a few simple habits that keep everything performing beautifully.

Before each burn, make sure to flick off any excess char to prevent the flame from going out, and soot.

Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn for an even, consistent burn.

Burn for 2 to 4 hours at a time and keep away from drafts.

Always place your candle on a tray, candle holder, or heat resistant surface to protect your space.

Stop burning when about 1/2 inch of wax remains.
