Hey, candle-lovers! 2023 has come to a close so quickly, and we wanted to recap all the good that we experienced this year at Ebony & Ivory Candle Co. We just wanted to pop on here and say thank you to everyone who supported us in 2023 by trying out (or grabbing another) soy candle from our Canadian small business. We also want to send out a big virtual hug to all of our staff and wholesale partners who make this dream possible. So, what did we achieve at Ebony & Ivory Candle Co. in 2023? Let’s check it out.
Starting strong, Cozy Cottage still tops the charts two years in a row. And we see why, too. This soy candle is better for the environment and still smells like heaven. Bathe in the scent of a woodland cottage situated in the middle of a frozen wood, but you are warm inside while cuddled in a blanket and a cup of tea. One of our favourite parts about this scent is that it comes in all shapes and sizes: big booty, 8 oz, hand soap, and even a candle refill kit.
We were able to reach more people via social media so that they could see the love we put into each candle. We hosted 12 Days of Gifting and made content for all your small-business soy candle-making needs. Rich Bitch and Stairway to Lemon, some of our other soy candles made in Canada, also hit the high ranks last year, with Rich Bitch appearing as bath bombs, foaming hand soap, roll-ons, and fragrance spray, and candles. What’s that old saying…? “Burn the candle for the job you want, not the job you have?”
Stairway to Lemon is breaking down barriers in the cleaning world, coming as an all-purpose cleaner and a cleaning concentrate, keeping your home a sustainable and chemical-free one. Or, burn a Stairway to Lemon candle to make your home instantly feel cleaner.
Another thing we are excited to tell you about is that this year, we have already released more limited-edition candles. With Valentine’s Day coming our way pretty quickly, shop for our newest releases: Thank U, Next and Love Letter. Ebony & Ivory Candle Co. is so privileged to have staff on hand who are so creative, allowing us to craft new scents year-round for you to enjoy.
