Now & Then is a true layered scent experience designed to unfold in chapters. The top half begins with Humble Abode, wrapping the room in baked sugar, snickerdoodle, warm spice, cupcake, vanilla, and brown sugar for a sweet, nostalgic welcome-home feeling that reflects the brand’s earliest days.

As the candle burns deeper, it melts into Saint, where cognac, praline, toasted hazelnut, and vanilla cream create a richer, more sensual finish that reflects the elevated direction of our more recent fragrance line.

Now & Then is our anniversary candle for 10 years in business, and more than anything, it is a tribute to the journey.

It takes us back to 2016, when Humble Abode was first created on a kitchen stovetop for a fundraiser for my friend who's husband was diagnosed with ALS, a candle poured with heart before there was ever a full business behind it.

That candle was used to support my friend's family, and ALS research. It only feels right that Now & Then be used to do the same. 100% of sales of this candle will be donated to ALS research.

From there, Ebony & Ivory Candle Co. kept growing, kept evolving, and kept showing up, even through the uncertainty of the pandemic years.

Today, we are still here, still creating, and still pushing forward with a collection of high-end, luxury fragrances, with Saint standing as one of the scents that represents how far we have come.

Now & Then is that story in wax: the sweetness of the beginning, the strength of the middle, and the richness of what came next.

Get the most out of your Now & Then candle with a few simple habits that keep the memories alive.

Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn for an even, consistent burn.

Trim your wick to about 1/4 inch before each use to maintain a clean, steady flame.

Burn for 2 to 4 hours at a time and keep away from drafts or fans.

Stop burning when about 1/2 inch of wax remains to protect the vessel.

Burn only on a tray or a heat resistant surface
