In one of our most legendary brand collaborations to date, Ebony & Ivory partnered with Canadian fine jewelry house Roset to create a candle experience unlike anything Southern Alberta has seen before.
We’re talking: handmade candle. Luxury scent. And buried in one? A real diamond—wrapped in tin foil, waiting to be found.
Spoiler: someone did find it. And yes, it was iconic.
When we first teamed up with Roset, we knew we wanted to do more than just slap logos on each other's products. This was a true brand partnership—two Southern Alberta brands, both rooted in craftsmanship and creativity, coming together to make something magical.
They brought the sparkle.
We brought the flame.
Together, we created a moment of pure, Canadian-made indulgence.
And while only one lucky person uncovered the diamond, the candle itself was (and still is) all kinds of artisanal luxury—hand-poured, small-batch, and scented to perfection.
Here’s how it went down: We buried a diamond, in tin foil, deep in the wax of a custom Roset x Ebony & Ivory candle and one seriously lucky customer discovered it by burning their candle all the way down. It was a whole vibe.
The best part? We still make these luxury candles for Roset as part of our ongoing wholesale partnership. While there may not be a hidden diamond inside every jar anymore (sorry, legends only happen once), each candle remains just as thoughtful, just as elevated, and just as handmade as ever.
This collaboration proved something we’ve always believed: Luxury can be local. Artisanal can be exciting. And the little things? They’re sometimes the most sparkly.
