As a small business local to Lethbridge, AB, we are deeply rooted in our community and prioritize creating a healthy and safe work environment. Our commitment to providing quality candles is reflected in the process in which our candles are meticulously handcrafted with care. Buying our candles supports a small, women-owned and women-run business that depends on customers like you to operate.
Sustainable
One of the foundational elements of Ebony & Ivory is our promise to sustainability. Whether it’s sourcing our soy wax from sustainable farms or packing our handmade candles in reusable and recyclable materials, we are always looking for a new way to lessen our carbon footprint. For local Lethbridge or Medicine Hat residents, we offer a take-back program for your spent candle jars to be reused in our next batch.
All of our ingredients are vegan and cruelty-free, as we believe this is the minimum we can do. Because of our quality ingredients, our candles burn longer than any paraffin wax or soy-blend candle could. Each candle is made from 100% soy wax, which is clean-burning and will not emit toxins into your home.
We expanded our product lines to include planet-friendly cleaning products, wax melts, and luxury candle tools to help your candle last even longer. Our team is currently working on extending our jar take-back program and switching out more plastic materials for sustainable alternatives.

We love each and every one of the products we have available and are always experimenting with scents to bring new candles to the line. Each of our candles, fragrances and cleaners is handmade with our own scent combinations that you cannot find anywhere else. Everything, including the labels, is made in-house by our lovely staff.
